School Profile

The Independent School Batam (ISB), formerly known as The International School Batam was established in August 1999 and currently under Yayasan Pendidikan Multinasional Ramdani Batam in Batam Island, Indonesia. This school is established by a group of expatriate parents who desire the best education for their children. When first established, the school curriculum was provided and advised by the British International School in Jakarta, Indonesia. ISB is a non-profit oriented school with an open management, focusing solely towards giving the best education for our children.

Our mission is dedicated to developing the qualities and skills within our students, which includes: building their self-confidence, self-motivation, independence and sense of responsibility. Ultimately, our goal is to develop our students' fullest potential.

SCHOOL AIMS

Our school aim is to provide an international standard education for both expatriate children and Indonesian children residing in Batam Island. We aim to produce students who will become socially and academically balanced individuals.
